There are a few important things that you might want to know ahead of time. You can also ignore these things in the story and they will not change things to a notable degree. They will not be dwell on. This is a cannon divergent au, so there are some notable changes, but they will fit within the existing scope of the DMC universe and hopefully, you will like them. Again, you may ignore them if you'd like to, but much like the main DMC5 cannon, certain things are up to your interpretation. Ok, let's get to it! V and Nero are brothers in this AU. V kinda assumes this out of the gate, but Nero doesn't know. Vergil is the only one totally in the know about this to start off. Well, except one person who may have caught on by now... I will very rarely call V Vitale. Why? Because a good amount of people in the community still call him that, we've kinda just decided that's his name, and it's a pretty name. It doesn't happen very often though. Only on special occasions. I take things from the Bayonetta universe into consideration in a few rare cases because it's the Bayonetta universe and if you've played both games or know their history together, then you understand. But don't worry, It will make sense and I'll explain what's going on in every case so you're not thrown for a loop. I will add more to this list as I think of things and as people bring it up to me. But please, don't get upset. At the end of the day, this is supposed to be fun! And were all free to take a story and view it in our own special way. I love DMC, especially DMC5. I have for the last decade. I just wanted to spend a little bit of extra time with V and flesh out his story, I guess.

I'm going to level with you: I don't really have one. As an unfortunate result of my procrastination issues, I have a hard time making plans far into the future. But I aim to post a new chapter or one shot every Friday. I will make a post on my Twitter account @SkvaderArts to let everyone know when the new chapters will be done or if they are delayed until the next release day. If I post short works unrelated to Soliloquy like dabbles or one shots, they will go up on Wednesday. If I miss an upload day, I may try to post it on the following Wednsday if I finish it soon enough. Again, Twitter is the best place for these kinds of updates.

Soliloquy: This is the section dedicated to the first of hopefully many stories in my mega au. Click on this heading to read chapters from Soliloquy in release order. 3. One Shots: One chapter long short stories, normally longer in length than a dabble. 4. Holiday Fics: Just what it sounds like. These are almost always also under the One Shots section because they are just holiday themed one shots. 5. Dabbles: Short one chapter long stories that are normally less than 1k words. 6. Updates: I will post updates in this section that will cover a month at a time. They cover everything from features on the website to the release schedule for the month. 7. Series: This section is for any fics that are part of a series, like multi-chapter fics or the Soliloquy books. Note: You can also use the magnifying glass to search for what you're looking for by name if you happen to know the name ahead of time. In the future, some of the fics will be a dozen or more chapters, so finding an older chapter with this method might be ideal.
